I love trees. They’re godlike and humble guardians at the gates of time. Nobler than I can understand.

I shot these in LA at a fashion // model party. I don’t know what the band is called. I do know that the bass player is a fashion designer and was on Project Runway, his name is Jeffrey Sebelia. UPDATE: I have now found out that the band was called Sing Orpheus and has broken up. They were a great band.

Sjón is a wonderful poet and writer, a massive influence on me in my formative years, a frequent collaborator with Björk and an all around wonderful friend and human being. I’m a better man for knowing him. Thank you.

This picture of master editor Maury Loeb was shot during an edit. It is taken on the rooftop deck of PS. 260, the edit house in NY. Maury has cut a bunch of my projects, one of which (Crash) resulted in an AICE award for Maury for best VFX Editing.

Unidentified river somewhere in the western part of the United States. This image makes me think of Bill Callahan’s song “Drover” from his beautiful “Apocalypse” album.

This is an organic Ice Cream and Espresso truck. It’s operated by a hipster with tattooed arms and a red beard. It’s purpose is to spread the gospel of the hipster across NYC (and ultimately the world). The hipster organization is growing in power and numbers.
Do we need to fight back? Meh.
